TW AUDiO´s responsibility for world-class sound at Prithvi Convention Centre, India
At the Prithvi Convention Centre in Goa - venue of India Energy Week 2026 - TW AUDiO was entrusted with the sound for one of the world's largest energy gatherings, where heads of state, ministers, and global leaders demanded audio reliability of the highest order.
India Energy Week (IEW) 2026, the fourth edition of the country's flagship global energy event, was inaugurated at the Advanced Training Institute (ATI), ONGC, Goa. Bringing together world leaders, policymakers, and industry innovators, the event serves as a premier platform for shaping the future of global energy - welcoming tens of thousands of professionals from more than 120 countries, alongside 700+ exhibitors.
A Venue Built for Global Conversations
The integrated complex includes the Prithvi Convention Centre, the Aakash Management Development Facility, the Vayu Exhibition Hall, and supporting utility infrastructure - together forming a world-class platform for large-scale international conferences and exhibitions.
At its heart is a 5,000-seat auditorium built first and foremost for speech and conferencing. That focus set the priority for the sound design: every keynote, ministerial address and high-level proceeding had to be heard with complete clarity, from the front row to the last tier. It is precisely where the VERA system excels - engineered for exceptional speech intelligibility, uniform coverage and high output with low distortion.
The Challenge
Our authorised partner M/S BKAV, with M/S Pan Intellecom Ltd. leading on-site delivery, designed and installed the complete system for the main hall. The defining constraint: a 50m × 22m moveable partition - one of the largest in the world - that divides the auditorium into two fully independent venues, paired with a 30m LED videowall dominating the front wall.
The arrays had to deliver uniform coverage across both room configurations without obstructing sightlines to the screen, even from the last row. Every hang angle and splay had to be resolved before installation.
Engineering the Solution
The system was designed using the AFMG EASE 5 Acousteer real-time simulation engine and optimised with EASE AURA hybrid geometrical-acoustics modelling. The room model was built from the architectural drawings set, enabling precise assignment of acoustic materials aligned with the selected treatment strategy.
The heart of the design is a bi-amplified LCR configuration built on VERA 36 - a dual 10-inch, dual 8-inch, dual 1.4-inch exit HF - complemented by VERA S33 cardioid subwoofers combining an 18-inch and 15-inch driver in a single enclosure, with T24N and M10i fills ensuring uniformity into the upper tiers.
| Line Array L/R | 16× VERA 36 per side - Dual 10", Dual 8", 2× 1.4" HF |
| Line Array Centre | 16× VERA 36 centre cluster |
| Subwoofers L/R | 14× VERA S33 cardioid subwoofers per side |
| Subwoofers Centre | 5× VERA S33 centre |
| Front Fill | 10× VERA 36 distributed |
| Subwoofers Ground | 7× BSX |

Performance: Simulation to Reality
Initial simulations targeted an average SPL of 95 dB(A) with a standard deviation of 1.5 dB across the 100 Hz to 10 kHz range. Upon commissioning, on-site measurements confirmed the design objectives across the measurement grid. This low variance guarantees uniform clarity, speech intelligibility, and tonal consistency across all seating zones.

This was a challenging project in terms of design, deliveries and timelines of around nine months. We could get all delivered in time, get the system installed and functional for the global event. Krishna Pratap Singh - Manager, India
Engineering Excellence
The Prithvi Convention Centre installation marks another significant milestone for TW AUDiO in India, strengthening a growing footprint across the country's premium convention centres, corporate venues, and large-scale public infrastructure projects. As India continues building globally benchmarked venues, the commitment stays the same: clear communication and consistent sonic performance that connects people and elevates every event experience.
