Double date with VERA in Gent/Belgium
STAR WARZ
Built in 1910, Vooruit nowadays is a vibrant arts centre located in an impressive old building with a broad range of activities from theatrical performances, concerts to various themed dance parties. It houses four stages, four studios and a large café, offering a meeting place for a very diverse public.
Part of the varying program are two major events taking place on a regular basis.
“Star Warz”, one of the leading Drum‘n’Bass events in Belgium and internationally highly respected, having been host to many high profile label nights such as Metalheadz, Critical Music and Ram Records featuring music from artists such as Goldie, Andy C, Friction, Ed Rush, Kasra and many more. Star Warz represents all styles and evolutions within the Drum’n’bass scene and gives its public a broad look into the Drum‘n’Bass spectrum.
DATE WITH THE NIGHT
“Date with the Night” has a five year history by now and brought Rock ‘n’ Roll back to the Belgian dance floors. On a monthly basis, partygoers in Gent have a date with Rock ‘n’ Roll classics and fresh Indie knockouts from the Beatles, to the Arctic Monkeys, The Supremes to Amy Winehouse. A local live band is playing inbetween the DJ sets. “Date with the Night” has become a household name in the Gent nightlife scene.
For both events, a pumping system was required to boost the sound in the arts centre and Belgian rental company Euro P.A. delivers the PA system on a regular basis.
For the main system 12 x VERA36 supported by 8 x S30 are set up along with 2 x BSX.
The DJ monitoring on stage consisted of 4 x S18 and 2 x T24N flanking the DJs decks. Several C15 were used for the stage monitoring. The system is perfect for both styles of music – especially with the S30s providing a good punch and the BSX for the low frequencies. “It was fun, the best sound ever in this difficult acoustic environment”, says Peter Vanhove from Euro P.A.

Clear sound for culture: ELLA install at the Durango Fair17. December 2025LAKUNTZA was responsible for the large event hall at the Landako trade fair, providing a high-quality ELLA setup from TWAUDiO.
In order to harmonize the acoustic quality on stage at the new Heritage Hall of the Academia Națională de Muzică Gheorghe Dima in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, with the room acoustics, TWAUDiO C-series loudspeakers were chosen for the monitoring system.

Lighting up Volos Christmas 2025 starts with a spectacular show16. December 2025The Greek city of Volos kicked off the 2025 Christmas season with an impressive concert by the sea – accompanied by a TWAUDiO system that filled the entire area with powerful, clearly defined sound.
On May 24, 2025, the Recinto Ferial de Mislata, Valencia, became a true epicenter of live music. Around 20,000 people gathered to celebrate the energetic open-air concert by the iconic Spanish band La Raíz. SIMES Audio and Soinua deployed an impressive TWAUDiO system, meticulously planned and fine-tuned.
